Flexibility & stretching

Are flexibility issues robbing you of pace when you run, power when you ride or the range of motion needed to lift heavy weights?

Here's the deal - most of us neglect stretching. As a result, we get tight, sore and often, without us even realising, our performance starts to suffer. The reason is simple - many of our muscles & tendons cross joints in our bodies - the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle. If the muscle, and the associated tendon become tight, range of motion through the joint is restricted. If range of motion is restricted, speed and power diminish.

The answer - to keep performing to our potential, we need to stay flexible, so our limbs can achieve the range they need to propel us along.

Flexibility testing takes 30-45 minutes for a full body assessment and can identify areas where tight muscles may be restricting your range and affecting your performance.

We can then provide suggested stretches to target these areas and improve your overall flexibility - it's that easy.

Even without assessment - if you know you are typically poor at stretching, we can add half an hour of assisted stretching to your next massage, to help improve your range of motion and identify areas of tension that you can then target at home.
