Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a completely natural way to promote the body’s elimination of toxins, encouraging a deep relaxation response and supporting the body’s own healing process. Through a slow series of movements, lymph is gathered from around the body and pumped slowly through the key drainage points in the chest, underarms, stomach and top of the legs.

Manual lymphatic drainage is effective for the reduction of swelling and oedema and can promote healing after surgery or injury. It can boost the immune system by cleaning up toxic waste and flushing the lymph nodes to improve immune efficiency.

This technique is great for sufferers of headaches and stress and is a gentle and calming therapy when more than a relaxation massage is needed.
Manual lymphatic drainage can assist in the treatment of: fibromyalgia, sinusitis, oedema, soft tissue damage, scar reduction, frozen shoulder, carpel tunnel syndrome, delayed onset muscle soreness, chronic fatigue, tension headaches and migraines, whiplash & stress.

Our 60-minute session focuses on the head, neck and chest and can be effective in the treatment of headaches, jaw pain or tension, minimising soreness after dental surgery, puffiness around the face or swelling. It is also a particularly calming treatment that can bring about a beautiful reset.

The 90-minute lymphatic drainage massage is a full-body treatment, designed to improve overall circulation of the lymph, address areas of oedema or swelling in the extremities and bring about a complete flush of the body’s lymphatic system to support immunity and remove toxins.
