Guided relaxation massage
Guided relaxation uses the power of breath focus, a style of meditation, combined with a coordinated relaxation massage, to give an ever deeper feeling of relaxation - it's like a power nap, without the nap. Practised by millions around the world, meditation is often credited for improving health, adding years to your life, reducing stress, building wisdom and unlocking the secrets of the mind - you wouldn't find that in a pill!
At lime & myrtle we stumbled on something pretty special when we combined soothing waves of relaxation massage with a customised guided breath relaxation track, recorded here in our studio - it's a treatment which draws you inward, promotes reflection and reinvigorates the mind and spirit.
With soft relaxation music playing, and gentle waves of pressure releasing tension from your muscles during a relaxation massage, the world outside disappears. With your focus directed towards your breath and body, you are free to experience a deeper relaxation - there is no need to make small talk, no need to remain in the moment - you are free to drift away.
The 60-minute guided relaxation treatment includes 30-minutes of flowing relaxation massage and 30-minutes of guided breath relaxation set to the pre-recorded track, incorporating its own style of massage. There is time afterwards for you to reawaken gently and prepare to face the world again. Total treatment time: 60 minutes plus wake-up time.
